David.....
Is your picker broken? I say that it is broken only by other people's standards. Sometimes you don't even know what is good for you. So how can it be broken? Once again, it's all relative. My coworkers always say my picker is broken... what the hell do they know?.... everything!!! Why are we always drawn to the same type of person that is bad for us? People tell me that subconsciously we pick the same mate over and over. How to stop the madness? I say, let them pick you. Try something different. Live out of the box. Just recognize the crazy signs early and ditch the relationship sooner than later. I am guilty of that also.
Shanita......
Okay...I know this is directed towards me. I cannot say I have ever had a good relationship. And, I don't pick the same type of person...I make new mistakes with each one. Tall, dark and handsome...he's a player. Short dumpy and successful...he's a player. Middle aged and controlling...he's a player. Senior citizen/public servant...he's a player. The common denominators is that they all cheat and me. So am I the problem? The major issue is I am so perceptive, I always figure it out, quickly. Maybe its my location, DC is notoriously filled with lothsarios who justify their behavior saying the numbers favor them. But I keep trying, but I don't pick them, they pick me. So what's your advice now Einstein er...I mean David? Mostly I ditch quickly, just not the last couple of times.
David.....
More directed at both of us. I am guilty too. Not just you this time. regardless of who does the picking, you have the final say. Einstein says go with your gut..... may save you in the long run. Easy peasy.....
